Grooming Risks & Liability: While we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety, grooming is not risk-free. Risks may include, but are not limited to, nicks, cuts, skin/eye irritation, clipper burn, stress, subconjunctival hemorrhage, allergic reactions to grooming products, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions. By signing, you accept these risks and release Glam Paws Pet Salon from grooming-related liability, except in cases of gross negligence.

Appointments typically take 1–4 hours, depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, behavior, and temperament. Some appointments may take longer, especially on days with anxious, elderly, or difficult pets. Timing is an estimate and not guaranteed.

Potty Policy: Please take your dog for a potty break before their grooming appointment. If your pet has an accident after being groomed, an additional re-bath fee will apply.

Vaccination Policy: All pets must be current on rabies vaccination as required by law. Proof may be requested at any time.

Pricing & Service Frequency: Final pricing is based on dog's size, behavior, coat's length and condition. Pets that are groomed regularly often receive a consistent price, while pets that are groomed infrequently may require more labor, or corrective work and may be priced higher. Price can be adjusted at the groomer’s discretion, including during or after the service.

Matting Policy: Severely matted dogs will be shaved down. Dogs with matting in certain areas may be shaved only in those spots, which can result in an uneven haircut. If the owner does not agree to shaving, we will refuse service as de-matting is not part of our services due to safety concerns. Extra fees apply to all matted dogs

Fleas & Ticks: If fleas or ticks are found during grooming, a mandatory flea bath will be administered, and an additional fee will apply. Pets with severe infestations may be refused service.

Behavior & Health Disclosure: Pets must be in good general health. Owners must disclose any medical conditions, behavioral issues, anxiety, aggression, or prior biting incidents. For safety reasons, grooming will be stopped immediately if the groomer believes the pet may get hurt or the groomer may be injured. In such cases, full charges will still apply, and the pet may be referred to a veterinary grooming facility.

Pick-Up Policy: Please wait for your notification (call or text) before arriving for pick-up. Arriving early may result in an incomplete groom, but full pricing still applies.

Pets must be picked up within 1 hour of notification. Pets picked up after this time will be charged a $35 late pick-up fee. This policy helps maintain kennel availability, prevent potty accidents, and keep appointments on schedule.

Personal Belongings: Glam Paws is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items, including leashes, collars, harnesses, clothing, or tags.
Ongoing Agreement: This agreement remains valid for all future grooming visits unless updated or replaced. A new signature will be required only when the waiver is revised.
